Chirpy RX
This simple Javascript application lets you record and decode data chirped out from the
Sensor Watch.
It's best to place a headset microphone right next to the watch, as shown in the image.
Watch faces like the activity_face
or chirpy_demo_face
can chirp out data.
You can process a single transmission at a time. Just reload the page to process a new one.
If you have trouble decoding a transmission, save the recorded audio and drop me an email at
gabor.reads.this[at]gmail.com
, or hit me up on Mastodon at
twilliability@genart.social.
This app runs entirely in your browser. It does not upload your audio or the decoded data anywhere. I use Plausible.io, a privacy-focused analytics tool to count visits.
The source code is on Github.
